Brayden Prieskorn Signs with Purdue University Northwest

Brayden Prieskorn has committed to Purdue University Northwest to further his athletic and academic career. Brayden will be running cross country and track for the Lions.

While a student-athlete at St. Clair High School, Brayden competed for the Saints in cross country, indoor, and outdoor track. He has a personal best of 16:48 for the 5K, 2:05 for the 800 meters, and 4:39 for the mile. He also participated in the Links program and the Unified Bowling program throughout his high school career.

Brayden earned MAC All-Academic, All-Region, and All-League honors, and was a state meet qualifier in three cross country seasons. He was team Tri-MVP, a captain, and a 4x800-meter relay state qualifier, as well.

Brayden chose PNW because it was a great fit, both academically and athletically. "The coach and team atmosphere remind me a lot of my SCHS team, and it felt like home. From the first visit, you could genuinely tell Coach Hoover cares about his team on and off the track/course. The campus is really nice and just the size I was looking for. The class sizes are similar to high school, so there is no opportunity to fall through the cracks or be overwhelmed."

Brayden will major in Kinesiology, on the Pre-Physical Therapy track. After four years at PNW, he plans to obtain a Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Oakland University.

Congratulations, Brayden!
