Girls' Road to Regionals: Who and What to Watch

With early-qualifying (EQ) marks via large invitational meets mostly behind us, we look toward regional competition and a top-two regional finish or automatic qualifying standard (AQ) to make it to the state meet. Here’s a recap of the latest results from girls’ track and field in the area over the previous seven days, and who and what to watch as we head into regional meets and the championship season. The predictions are based on athletes' rankings in the top ten for the Blue Water Area Performance List and their current regional seeding. Not all athletes will compete in their seeded events due to the four-event limit and personal decisions on what to enter, so these are simply possible regional entries and hypothetical meet predictions based on what results were currently entered and aggregated on athletic.net at the time of publication.
